LOWER WISCONSIN RIVER HOVERGROUP

EXPLORES OVER 100 MILES OF RIVER AUG. 20, 21 AND 22!

Campsites were reserved well in advance, and the first camper (actually came in on Thursday eve) was Roger Scott, from Ohio, with his Weber AirRider! This craft is a beauty, having been redone by Roger and adding a 25 hp Kohler for pushing and lifting with a 8 hp B&S, making it fast!
The PL Express sits waiting for a driver...in all 3 days 27 crafts showed...13 were kin to the PL!!!
John Windt pulls in with his hot 19P!
Dennis Sornson, Madison, brought his Sev!
Terry Tanner, Muscoda, brought his camouflaged StarCruiser 4!
A 1940 Airboat also came--pushing with a 1946 Franklin 90 hp airplane engine. And the db levels far outweighed any hovercraft in attendance!
Mike McCullough and Dennis Sornson leave for the 1st cruise on Friday!
Terry Tanner flying along side everyone--almost camouflaged!
A quick stop at the homestead of Bob Steinhauer, a SC4 owner who is laid up with ankle surgery, and Carl is heading for the trees!
As Carl tries to get untangled from the trees, Mike McCullough heads out on the Wisconsin!
Mike and Carl flying side by side...
Dennis Sornson maneuvering out of Bob's parking lot!
A little help from a fellow hovernaut and Dennis is on his way!
John Windt on a speed run!
UH13P and SC4 sitting side by side...no discrimination here!
John inspects his skirt! Everyone returned safely to the boat landing to complete a short 30 mile cruise up river, getting ready for the big day--tomorrow!

Read on for Day Two of the Muscoda Cruise!
